Goal:
The thrust of this project is to create a light weight snmp daemon,
with an small footprint in memory, which is able
to serve out multiple requests efficiently
This challenge was taken on in Q1 2002, when a group of students from
NCState teamed together with Network
Management Professionals from the industry to work on a university
project, and convert it to something they
could contribute to the open source community.
It was followed in set milestones, which are documented below:
Milestone1: Brief Description of project/objectives [.html]
Milestone2: Preliminary Design Document [.html][.doc] [.pdf]
Milestone3: Complete Functional/TestPlan/UserGuide all-in-one
doc [.doc] [.pdf] NEW:MUST
READ!!
Though it is a working model as it stands, hopefully this project sets
off wheels on an ongoing development.
